Courthouse News for March 6th

On February 26th, Special Prosecutor David Baird filed charges against Bradley Porter (35) of Braddyville (IA) in Nodaway County alleging DWI, Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident), and No Seat Belt.

On February 26th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Michael Moore (20) alleging DWI and Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway.

On February 26th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Cameron Starks (19) of Maryville alleging Possession of Marijuana.

On February 26th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Jayni Coates (23) of O’Fallon alleging Burglary (Felony) and Property Damage. Bond was set at $10,000 cash or corporate surety with defendant to have no communication either directly or indirectly with victim, defendant not to come within 900 feet of victim, victim’s residence, or place of employment.

On February 26th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Cadence Rogers (22) of Bedford alleging Speeding, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Prior), and No Insurance.

On February 26th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Joshua Keen (31) of Hawthorne (FL) alleging Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway and Possession of Marijuana.

On February 27th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Kathleen Asher (26) of St. Joseph alleging Burglary (Felony) and Stealing.

On February 27th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Chanal Phillips (30) of St. Joseph alleging Burglary (Felony) and Stealing.

On February 27th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Orvin Williams (24) of Maryville alleging No Valid License, Possession of Marijuana, and No Plates.

On February 27th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Adrianne Bennett (19) of McFall alleging Stealing.

On February 27th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Jeremy Bradshaw (38) of Maryville alleging Assault.

United States Attorney Marc Krickbaum announced on February 27, 2019, Timothy Dean Curphey, age 35, was sentenced by United States District Court Judge Rebecca Goodgame Ebinger for Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine. Curphey was sentenced to 204 months in prison to be followed by a seven-year term of supervised release. In April 2016, a concerned citizen presented a suspicious package to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office. Law enforcement examined the package, and discovered it had been sent from Mexico and contained methamphetamine disguised as candy. This investigation led to Curphey and others that had distributed over fifty pounds of methamphetamine in Southwest Iowa. This case was investigated by Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, Page County Sheriff’s Office, Adams County Sheriff’s Office and Taylor County Sheriff’s Office. The case was prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Iowa.

On February 27th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against Dustin Ueligger (31) of Grant City alleging 2nd Degree Assault (Felony) and Property Damage. He was subsequently arrested on a Worth County Warrant on March 2nd in Gentry County by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and also charged in Gentry County with No Valid Plates and No Seat Belt.

On February 27th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against Matteson Downing (19) of Grant City alleging 3rd Degree Assault (Felony).

On February 27th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against Collins Straight (38) of Guilford alleging 2nd Degree Assault (Felony) and Property Damage.

On February 27th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against Tanner Parman (18) of Denver alleging Minor Visibly Intoxicated, Possession of Marijuana, and Speeding (26+ mph or more).

On February 28th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Randi Tobin (28) of Grant City alleging No Valid License.

On February 28th, Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer filed charges against Jennifer Revilla (73) of Hatfield alleging 16 counts of Animal Abuse.

On March 1st, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Ron Randle (54) of Sheridan on a misdemeanor warrant from Worth County. He was charged with No Valid License and No Insurance.

On March 1st, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Jessika Keeney (26) of Bethany in Harrison County on a Gentry County Warrant for Failure to Appear.

On March 2nd, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Allison Pindar (32) of Liberty (MO) in Harrison County on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, and Speeding.

On March 2, 2019, Taylor County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Highway 2 near Bedford, on a vehicle for equipment violations. During the course of the traffic stop, K9 Ciba arrived and was deployed and gave a positive alert to the odor of narcotics. The following individuals were arrested in connection to the stop. Kenneth Johnson, 36 of Bedford, was charged with possession of a controlled substance. He is being held at the Taylor County Jail on $1,000 cash bond. Shannon Ingraldi, 37 of Foster, Missouri, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and taken into custody. She has since been released.

On March 2nd, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Ryan Eckstein (34) of Ravenwood alleging Stealing. A warrant was issued and bond was set at $300, cash only.

On March 4th, Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer filed charges against Donald Arthur White (61) of Romance (AR) alleging Operating as Interstate Motor Fuel User Without Being Licensed as Such. He pleaded guilty and was fined $55.50 plus court costs by Judge Jay Hemenway.

On March 4th, Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer filed charges against Manuel Hernandez (35) of Bethany alleging DWI and Failure to Register.

On March 4th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Bailey Hutchins (28) of Stanberry alleging two counts Assault and one count Consumption of Alcoholic Beverage While Driving.

On March 4th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Samantha Cline (26) of Albany alleging Speeding (16-19 mph), DWI, Resisting Arrest, Possession of Marijuana (Prior) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Prior).

On March 4th, Special Prosecutor Barbara Klima filed charges against Patrick Emery (38) of Pickering in Nodaway County alleging Non-Support (Felony).

On March 5th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against Stephanie Dragoo-Ellis (41) of Albany alleging No Insurance.

Charges listed are mere allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
