On March 14th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Justin Brodrick (38) of Skidmore alleging No Valid License (3rd and Subsequent, Felony). Bond was set at $3,000 cash, with defendant to be released on his own recognizance.
On March 14th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Katie Kendall (30) of Braddyville (IA) alleging Stealing (Felony). Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety, with defendant given leave to post 10% cash.
Jason Leroy Arends of Grinnell was arrested in Poweshiek County on 3/14/19 on an active warrant out of Taylor County. Charges were filed on Arends back in September after law enforcement attempted to make a traffic stop on Arends. Arends was charged with Eluding, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Weapons violations after he led law enforcement on a pursuit. Arends is being held at the Taylor County Jail on no bond until being seen by the Magistrate where a bond will be set.
Nodaway County Deputies conducted several covert buys of methamphetamine from a dealer in Maryville. On March 15, 2019, at about 10:30 AM, Nodaway County Deputies and Maryville Police were back at the apartments located at 515 E 7th Street in Maryville serving a search warrant at the conclusion of this investigation. An adult male was taken into custody at the scene and a probable cause statement has been submitted to the prosecuting attorney for three counts of delivery of a controlled substance. The subject’s name will be released when the warrant has been issued. Methamphetamine and scales were taken as evidence from the apartment.
On March 15th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Kylan Harrell (22) of Maryville alleging two counts Assault and one count Resisting Arrest.
Prosecuting Attorney Rice has charged Cody James Maser (age 28) of 515 E 7th, Maryville, MO, with three counts of Delivery of a controlled substance, (methamphetamine) a class C felony on March 15th. His bond was set at $50,000.00. Nodaway County Deputies and Maryville Police took Maser into custody Saturday after serving a search warrant on his apartment.
Abraham Schweers, 37, of Lenox was arrested on March 16th, 2019 in the 100 block of North Main Street in Lenox. He was charged with Disorderly Conduct after he was alleged to sit in his vehicle and sound his horn for an extended period of time in the 200 block of West Grove. Schweers is being held at the Taylor County Sheriff's Office on $300 bond.
On March 18th, Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer filed charges against Jason Camp (48) of Shawnee Mission (KS) alleging Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident), and No Insurance.
On March 18th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Bobby Richards (36) of Blythedale alleging No Valid License (3rd & Subsequent Offense, Felony), No Insurance, and Failure to Register.
On March 18th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Candace Farnsworth (26) of Maryville alleging Stealing.
On March 18th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Jesse Hurkman (32) of Maryville alleging Stealing.
On March 19th, Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer filed charges against Trevor Desselle (37) of Hamilton alleging Domestic Assault (Felony).
On March 19th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against Laurie Holmes (52) of Grant City alleging No Insurance and Failure to Register.
On March 19th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against Rickey Ledgerwood (61) of Raytown (MO) alleging No Insurance.
On March 19th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against Talia Nupp (31) of Ridgeway alleging No Seat Belt.
