Worth County’s boys edged out Mound City for its second meet win of the year. Worth County had 90 points. Mound City had 88, Stanberry 76, Gallatin 43, North Harrison 43, Maysville 40, Albany 32, East Atchison 32, DeKalb 24, Pattonsburg 23, NEN 17, St. Joseph Christian 17, OSHS 16, South Holt 14, Norborne 10, Craig 9, North Nodaway 9, Nodaway Valley 4, and Platte Valley 2.
Mason Hiatt got a personal best in the 200 with a time of 26.71. Lucas Frisch won the 110 Hurdles with a time of 15.72, almost 1.5 seconds ahead of his nearest rival. Frisch won the 300 Hurdles by four seconds. Brock Healy tried his hand at it and finished third with a time of 47.29.
The 4x100 team of Andrew Griffin, Jordan Dannar, Bo Collins, and Lucas Frisch tried something different, tossing the batons to each other, which is rare, but is a legal play. They won with a time of 45.63. The 4x200 team of Brayden Combs, Wyatt Hill, Dylan Smith, and Jordan Dannar was fourth with a time of 1:39.97. The 4x400 team of Brock Healy, Dylan Smith, Mason Hiatt, and Jordan Dannar was sixth with a time of 3:57.29.
Bo Collins got a personal best in the Shot Put and won with a throw of 13.47 meters. Lucas Frisch also got a personal best, taking fourth with a throw of 12.10. Bo Collins was second in the Discus with a season best of 36.59. Ethan Lininger was fifth with a throw of 31.87. Wyatt Hill was fourth in the Javelin with a throw of 37.59. Owyn Wuillay got a personal best with a throw of 28.58.
Andrew Griffin was second in the High Jump with a jump of 1.75 meters. Mason Hiatt got a personal best with a height of 1.55 meters. Brayden Combs was third in the Pole Vault with a height of 3.04 meters. Wyatt Hill was fourth with a height of 3.04. Jordan Dannar was fourth in the Long Jump with a personal best of 6.11 meters. Mason Hiatt got a personal best with a jump of 4.76 meters.
For the girls, Mound City had 92.5, Albany 92, Stanberry 82.5, Gilman City 50, East Atchison 50, Pattonsburg 39, South Holt 28, DeKalb 27, Platte Valley 25, Norborne 20, OSHS 19, Maysville 17, North Harrison 14, Worth County 12, Gallatin 9, NEN 8, and St. Joseph Christian 4.
Keira Hardy was fifth in the 100 with a time of 14.05. Hardy was fifth in the 200 with a time of 29.36.
The 4x100 team of Keira Hardy, Audrey Runde, Rayleigh Smith, and Megan Tracy was third with a time of 55.69.
Laura Hansen got a personal best in the Shot Put with a throw of 7.48 meters. Audrey Runde was sixth in the Discus with a throw of 25.89 meters. Kristen Tracy was eighth with a personal best of 23.70. Kristen Tracy got a personal best in the Javelin with a throw of 24.11 meters.
Megan Tracy was sixth in the Pole Vault with a jump of 2.13 meters. Tracy was seventh in the Long Jump with a jump of 4.17 meters.
