Emma Wilmes Wins Twice as JH Bluejay Girls Finish Third

Emma Wilmes won twice Thursday in Stanberry as Northeast Nodaway’s junior high girls finished third. She won the 100 with a time of 13.76, a personal best. Kinley Emery got a personal best with a time of 15.37. Emma’s other win was in the 400, where she got a time of 1:06.28, a personal best. Kinley Emery also got a personal best in that event, getting a time of 1:20.62.

In other girls action, Ellie Jackson was second in the 200 with a time of 29.35. Khloe Burns was third with a time of 29.72, a personal best. Aubrey Wilmes was third in the 800 with a time of 2:50.76, a personal best. Kiley Yost was eighth with a season best time of 2:58.64. Quindalyne Oelze was eighth in the 1600 with a personal best time of 7:19.09. Lillyan McCampbell got a personal best with a time of 9:09.59. Kenzley Yost was seventh in the 100 Hurdles with a personal best time of 20.82. Kiley Yost got a season best time of 21.01.

The 4x100 team of Bexlie Busby, Kinley Emery, Eryn O’Connell, and Kiley Yost was seventh with a time of 1:02.20. The 4x200 team of Khloey Burns, Bexlie Busby, Kenzley Yost, and Ellie Jackson was second with a time of 2:03.50. The 4x400 team of Aubrey Wilmes, Kenzley Yost, Ellie Jackson, and Emma Wilmes was second with a time of 4:43.69.

Khloe Burns won the Shot Put with a throw of 9.71 meters. Eryn O’Connell got a personal best with a throw of 8.33 meters. Khloe Burns was sixth in the Discus with a personal best throw of 20.82 meters. Bexlie Busby was seventh with a personal best throw of 19.33 meters.

Emma Wilmes was sixth in the High Jump with a height of 1.30 meters. Kenzley Yost was eighth with a height of 1.25 meters.

For the boys, Jax Archer got a personal best in the 100 with a time of 19.71. Jaxen Taylor got a personal best in the 200 with a time of 29.68, just out of the money. Gracin Runde was fifth in the 400 with a time of 1:01.80, a personal best. Paxton Bennett also got a personal best with a time of 1:04.26. Gracin Runde was eighth in the 800 with a time of 2:49.21.

The 4x100 team of Noah Cordell, Brody Jackson, Cooper Jackson, and Paxton Bennett was fifth with a time of 59.05. The 4x200 team of Jaxen Taylor, Cooper Jackson, Noah Cordell, and Brody Jackson was sixth with a time of 2:06.28. The 4x400 team of Brody Jackson, Jaxen Taylor, Gracin Runde, and Paxton Bennett was third with a time of 4:28.70. The Sprint Medley team of Jacob Vicker, Cooper Jackson, Noah Cordell, and Aiden Welch was eighth with a time of 2:29.86.

Paxton Bennett was fourth in the Long Jump with a jump of 4.64 meters. Noah Cordell got a personal best with a jump of 3.67 meters. Gracin Runde was third in the Triple Jump with a jump of 9.53 meters, a personal best.
