A benefit will be held Saturday, July 18th at the former DOT Maintenance Barn in Barnard for Jacob Walter starting at 5 pm. There will be a free will donation dinner, followed by a live auction and a dance.
Earlier this year, Jacob Walter developed flu-like symptoms, but it turned out to be a life-threatening heart condition. He was taken to Children’s Mercy. He has had emergency care, surgeries, lengthy stays at the hospital, the implantation of an LVAD, and he soon will be placed on a heart transplant waiting list.
To make donations, contact Marlin (660) 582-1841, Mike (660) 562-9400, or Denny (816) 351-2135. Donations can be mailed to or dropped off at Bank Northwest, 217 E. Main, Stanberry, MO 64489. Make all checks out to Pappi’s Palooza. Donations are tax deductible.
