Arianna Owens Wins Twice for Mustangs in Stanberry

Arianna Owens won twice at Stanberry for the junior high North Nodaway girls Thursday. She won the 800 with a personal best time of 2:45.50. Avary Volner was seventh with a personal best time of 2:55.77. Arianna also won the 1600, taking it by almost 18 seconds and getting a time of 5:57.06. Marin Alexander was fourth with a personal best time of 6:44.02. Arianna also competed in the 100 and finished fourth with a time of 14.36, a personal best.

In other results, Chandra Wyllie got a personal best in the 200 with a time of 35.13. Avary Volner was eighth in the 100 Hurdles with a personal best time of 20.90. Chandra Wyllie got a personal best in the Shot Put with a throw of 6.94 meters.

For the boys, Cade Miller got a personal best in the 200 with a time of 32.14. Trenton Roberts was fourth in the 800 with a time of 2:38.55. McClellan Clements was fifth with a time of 2:41.05. Tristen Wray was second in the 1600 with a time of 5:44.33. The 4x400 Relay team of Tristen Wray, Trenton Roberts, Gannon Stricker, and McClellan Clements was sixth with a time of 4:52.68. Gannon Stricker won the Shot Put with a personal best throw of 11.50 meters. Stricker finished sixth in the Discus with a personal best throw of 27.20 meters.
