Alta Pearl (Pat) Weddle 1932-2026

Alta Pearl (Pat) was born to Everett Melbourn Sutherland and Doris Dean (Jackson) on September 23, 1932 in Hatfield, MO. She started school in a one room school house, Turkey Grove, when she was four years old and graduated from Hatfield High school in 1949.

She attended Hatfield United Brethren (Methodist) Church. At 16 years old she accepted the Lord as her Savior and was baptized in a local pond on a Sunday afternoon.

She married William Alford Weddle on October 25, 1950 in Bethany Mo. To this union they had 4 children, Randy, Suanna, Mark and Staci.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law Eldon Graham, brother-in-laws, Lyle Thomas and Phillip Davis, nieces Kimberly Sue Davis and Cindy (Thomas) Gruebel.

Pat was a loyal servant to the Lord. She was always willing to share that Christ was her Savior and his love was her strength.

Pat loved to cook for family and friends. She cooked many loaves of bread, pans of cinnamon rolls and dozens of cookies. She knew you could fix all that ailed the world with a chat, cup of coffee and whatever treat she had made. Cooking was just one of the many ways she shared her love with family and friends.
