Tiger 4x100 Team Sets Meet Record at Tiger Relays; Boys Win

The Worth County boys track team set a meet record in the 4x100 at the Tiger Relays Tuesday, April 21st. The team of Lucas Frisch, Bo Collins, Jordan Dannar, and Andrew Griffin won with a time of 45.23. It was a personal best for the Tiger squad.

For the boys, Worth County ran away with the meet with 94 points. Stanberry had 60, Gallatin 55, Rock Port and South Harrison 53, North Harrison 39, Maysville 37, East Atchison 34, NEN 27, North Andrew 22, King City 22, DeKalb 22, Pattonsburg 17, South Holt 13, North Nodaway 12, Platte Valley 12, Albany 10, Nodaway Valley 6, and North Daviess 1.

In other results for the boys, Lucas Frisch was third in the 100 with a personal best time of 11.75. Bo Collins was fifth in the 200 with a personal best time of 24.13. Andrew Griffin also got a personal best with a time of 25.31. Lucas Frisch won the 110 Hurdles with a time of 16.39. Mason Hiatt was fifth with a time of 19.84. Lucas Frisch won the 300 Hurdles with a time of 43.29. Brock Healy was third with a time of 46.75.

Bo Collins was third in the Shot Put with a throw of 13.99 meters. Coly Ruby got a personal best with a throw of 11.02 meters. Bo Collins was fourth in the Discus with a personal best throw of 40.11 meters. Ethan Lininger was sixth with a throw of 34.51 meters. Wyatt Hill was third in the Javelin with a throw of 37.41 meters.

Andrew Griffin won the High Jump with a personal best height of 1.85 meters. Mason Hiatt got a personal best with a height of 1.60 meters. Brayden Combs was second in the Pole Vault with a height of 3.35 meters. Wyatt Hill was fifth with a height of 3.05 meters. Jordan Dannar was fourth in the Long Jump with a personal best jump of 6.30 meters. Dylan Smith was third in the Triple Jump with a jump of 12.05 meters. Brock Healy was sixth with a personal best of 11.63 meters.

For the girls, Rock Port had 126, South Harrison 86, Albany 79, Stanberry 75.33, Maysville 57, East Atchison 35.33, Pattonsburg 28, Union Star 17, Platte Valley 17, South Holt 16, Gallatin 14, King City 13, DeKalb 10.33, Worth County 5, North Andrew 4, North Harrison 4, and East Harrison 1.

The 4x100 team of Keira Hardy, Audrey Runde, Kristen Tracy, and Megan Tracy was sixth with a time of 55.36. Laura Hansen got a personal best in the Shot Put with a throw of 8.04 meters. Haley Russell got a personal best with a throw of 7.76 meters. Audrey Runde was fourth in the Discus with a throw of 27.55 meters.
