Joseph Silvio Marshall, age 76, Denver, Missouri, died unexpectedly at his home, Sunday, January 11, 2026.
Joe was a veteran, making a career of the military with the United States Army. He enlisted at the age of 17 served his country for over 20 years. He was with the U.S. Army’s III Armored Corps located at Fort Hood, Texas.
After retiring from the service Joe had also worked for Bethlehem Steel Corp, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and enjoyed carpentry.
On March 7, 2007 he was united in marriage to Sandra Ricks. They enjoyed 25 years together.
Joe liked being involved in the community. He was a member of the Grant City Baptist Church, Worth County Memorial VFW Post #3123, Board Member of the Worth County Senior Citizens Center.
His survivors include: Wife Sandra, of the home, daughters Pam Marshall, Alaska, Tina (Quentin) Allen, Florida, Tracy (Mikey) Nicholson, North Carolina, Tammie Sue (Monte) Glisson, Texas, Jenny Rebecca Linley, Texas, son Otis Dawn (Karen) Linley, Albany, Missouri, sisters Darlene (Phillip) Batchelder, Alaska, Debbie Burton, Albany, Donna (Gary) Maudlin, Albany, and one brother Lewis Marshall, Albany, Grandchildren and a host of other friends and loved ones.
Funeral
services are scheduled for 2 PM, Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Grant City
Baptist Church, Grant City, Missouri where the family will receive friends 1-2
PM prior to the service.
Military honors will be provided by the Missouri Honors Program and the Worth County Memorial VFW Post 3123.
