Area Courthouse, Police, and Crime Reports for January 28th, 2026

On January 20th, Linda Robertson (66) of Gallatin pleaded guilty in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident). She was fined $80.50 plus costs by Judge Micha Lea Dixon.

On January 20th, Wyatt Pankau (35) of Clarksdale pleaded guilty in DeKalb County Associate Circuit Court to Attempted Terrorist Threat, Harassment, and Peace Disturbance. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Drew Foster Davis.

On January 20th, Jimmy Taylor (76) of Jamesport pleaded guilty in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Peace Disturbance. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Micha Lea Dixon. Defendant may have no contact with the victim.

On January 20th, Thomas Cross (51) of Mercer pleaded guilty in Mercer County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Tampering with Utility Meter. He was sentenced to six months in jail by Judge Alex Van Zandt.

On January 20th, Vengalrao Yelluri (26) of Maryville pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court to charges of Violation of Protection Order and DWI. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Robert Rice.

On January 20th, Jason Rigual (54) of Billings (MT) pleaded guilty in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Tampering with Motor Vehicle. He was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit for time served.

On January 20th, Brittany Karstens (43) of Jameson pleaded guilty in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Domestic Assault. She was placed on two years probation by Judge Micha Lea Dixon. Defendant may have no contact with the victim.

On January 21st, Harrison County Prosecutor Michael Wulff filed charges against Sara Service (33) of Bethany alleging No Valid License (Felony). Bond was set at $10,000, cash only.

On January 21st, Darius Sipple (34) of Kansas City failed to appear in Gentry County Associate Circuit Court on charges of No Valid License (Felony) and Speeding. A warrant was issued and bond set at $2,000, cash or corporate surety.

On January 21st, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Robert Sutton (66) of Blue Springs alleging Driving While Revoked (Felony). Bond was denied. Defendant is on probation from Livingston County.

On January 21st, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Henry Williams (33) of Coffey alleging Stealing. An affidavit from the Daviess County Prosecutor alleges that FedEx misdelivered a package intended for his neighbor to the defendant’s residence and that the defendant refused to return the package to its owner. Bond was set at $1,000, with defendant given leave to post 10% cash. Defendant may have no contact with the victim.

On January 21st, Jared Rockhold (27) of Stanberry pleaded guilty in Gentry County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. He was fined $200 plus court costs by Judge Rebecca McGinley.

On January 21st, Kaleb Fehring (20) of Trenton pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to charges of Hunting from Public Roadway, Hunting With a Motor Vehicle, Unlawful Possession of Wildlife, and Unlawful Transportation of Wildlife. He was fined $100 plus costs by Judge Jay Hemenway.

On January 21st, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Phylicia Harner (34) of Conception alleging Tampering with Motor Vehicle (Felony). Bond was set at $2,000, cash or corporate surety.

On January 21st, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 17 year old Bethany driver was northbound on 146 between Bethany and Gilman City late that evening and lost control on a curve, went off the side, through a yard, and struck a mailbox. The driver received moderate injuries.

On January 22nd, Harrison County Circuit Judge Matthew Krohn sentenced Virgil Parman (51) of Grant City to 10 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for charges of Knowingly Burning or Exploding (Felony), Attempted Witness Tampering (Felony), and Tampering with Witness (Felony). The defendant had been convicted on these charges by a Harrison County jury.  Defendant gets credit for 158 days served.

On January 22nd, Tycene Wilson (67) of Bethany pleaded guilty in Harrison County Circuit Court to a charge of Witness Tampering (Felony). She was placed on five  years probation by Judge Matthew Krohn. Defendant must enter and complete the 3rd Circuit Adult Treatment Program.

On January 22nd, Kendra Nupp (35) of Ridgeway pleaded guilty in Harrison County Circuit Court to a charge of Hindering Prosecution (Felony). She was placed on five years probation by Judge Matthew Krohn. Defendant must complete 3rd Circuit Supervisory Program.

On January 24th, as of 9 pm, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported 601 calls for service, 78 stranded motorists, 100 non-injury crashes, 20 injury crashes, and 1 fatality crash (non-weather related) across the state during the snowstorm.

On January 24th, someone ran off the south side of Route 246 at the “Y” east of Sheridan on snow and ice covered roads and smashed the stop sign.  There were no injuries. The stop sign has been replaced.

On January 25th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a tractor-trailer driver from Logan (UT) was injured when he ran off the northbound lane of I-35 four miles south of Bethany, down an embankment, and overturned.

On January 25th, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Marcus Hostetler (20) of Jamesport alleging DWI and Minor in Possession of Marijuana. Bond was set at $1,000, posted by the defendant. An affidavit from the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department alleges the defendant did donuts in the parking lots of a local business, damaging a window.

On January 26th, Jennifer Miller (39) of Ravenwood pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to Forgery (Felony) and Stealing (Felony). She was placed on five years probation by Judge Corey Herron.

On January 26th, Dawn Muncy (49) of Quitman failed to appear in Nodaway County Circuit Court on charges of Delivery of Controlled Substance (Felony) and Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony). A warrant was issued and bond denied.

On January 26th, Sara Carter (46) of Parnell pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to a charge of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony). She was placed on five years probation by Judge Corey Herron.

On January 26th, Harrison County Prosecutor Michael Wulff filed charges against Donald Moad (55) of King City alleging Burglary (Felony), No Valid License (Felony), and Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony). Bond was set at $15,000, cash only.

On January 26th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Robert Wallace (46) of Rock Port alleging DWI (Felony), Stopping in Middle of Roadway, and No Seat Belt. Bond was set at $10,000 cash or corporate surety. Must have random and frequent drug testing at own expense. No alcohol or bars. Defendant may not be in possession of compressed air cans or spray cans.

On January 27th, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Wesley Walker (48) of Kansas City alleging Sexual Misconduct and Harassment.

Charges listed are merely allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
