The Sheridan City Council, at their meeting Monday, voted to pay the person who mows the park a $50 bonus as a thank you for mowing the ditch as well as the park.
Around $49,000 in principal is left to be paid on the loan for the Sheridan Community Building. The Sheridan Alumni Association had voted to pay $1,000 towards the principal at their reunion during Memorial Day Weekend.
The county has finished hauling rock for the city.
Water Superintendent Barry Lyle is in the process of getting bids for the water inspection.
Discussion was held on overgrown brush north of the park that the city says is blocking traffic and turning it into a one way street.
