Area Courthouse, Police, and Crime Reports for June 11th, 2025

On June 2nd, Logan Fainter (23) of Bevier admitted to violating the terms and conditions of his probation by traveling out of the state without permission and failure to complete the Outpatient Sex Offender Program. Judge Corey Herron revoked his probation and ordered the defendant to serve four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on a charge of Invasion of Privacy (Felony).

On June 3rd, Damon Stewart (48) of Platte City pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court to charges of DWI and Defective Bumpers. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Robert Rice and fined $100 plus court costs. Defendant must complete SATOP and the Midwest Victim Impact Panel.

On June 3rd, Lacy Merys-Reeves (38) of Maryville pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Resisting Arrest. She was sentenced to 13 days in jail by Judge Robert Rice with credit for time served.

On June 3rd, Jennifer Clark (47) of Maryville failed to appear in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court on charges of Failure to Comply with Ignition Interlock Requirements and No Valid License. A warrant was issued and bond set at $500, cash only.

On June 3rd, Nicolas Perea (22) of Bentonville (AR) failed to appear in Daviess County Associate Court for a payment review hearing. A warrant was issued and bond set at $1,000, cash only. The defendant had pleaded guilty to DWI and No Valid License and had been fined $300.

On June 3rd, Megan Smith (31) of Moberly failed to appear in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court on a charge of Trespassing. A default judgement was entered and defendant assessed $100 in fines and court costs by Judge Robert Rice.

On June 3rd, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department reported scammers were impersonating the Iowa Department of Vehicles falsely stating that peoples’ registrations were about to be suspended and prosecution was imminent.

On June 3rd, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Kasee Cotner (39) of Barnsdall (OK) alleging Stealing (Felony). Bond was set at $7,500, cash only. An affidavit from the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department alleges the defendant cashed a bond refund check from the court twice.

On June 3rd, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Nathaniel Cox (44) of Lee’s Summit alleging Driving While Revoked (Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Felony), and Speeding (82 mph). Bond was set at $2,000, cash or corporate surety.

On June 3rd, Judge Corey Herron suspended the probation of Mariah Ishmael (27) of St. Joseph in Nodaway County Circuit Court following receipt of a violation report. She was serving probation on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony) and Resisting Arrest (Felony).

On June 3rd, Michael Howard (45) of Pattonsburg pleaded guilty in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Domestic Assault. He was placed on two years probation and ordered to pay court costs by Judge Micha Lea Dixon. Defendant may not consume alcohol, enter bars, or have contact with the victim. Defendant must attend AA or NA meetings and wear alcohol monitoring device.

On June 3rd, Emily Leeman (28) of Hamilton failed to appear in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court on a charge of DWI. A warrant was issued and bond set at $500, cash only. Leeman also failed to appear on a charge of Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway (Accident). Another warrant was issued and bond set at $500, cash only.

On June 4th, Emiliano Cruz-Sanchez (34) of St. Paul (MN) pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to charges of DWI and No Valid License. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Jay Hemenway. Defendant must pay $57.50 in fines, court costs, and $300 to the Harrison County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.

On June 4th, Amanda Beth Thomas (47) of Bethany pleaded guilty in Harrison County Circuit Court to a charge of Peace Disturbance. She was placed on two years probation by Judge Jay Hemenway.

On June 4th, Danny Ireland (63) of King City pleaded guilty in Gentry County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of DWI. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Joel Miller. Defendant must pay $300 to the Gentry County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund, $115.50 in court costs, and successfully complete SATOP. Defendant may not possess or consume alcoholic beverages or enter any bars or liquor stores.

On June 4th, Daryl Smith (45) of King City pleaded guilty in Gentry County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Harboring a Vicious Dog (Dog Bite). He was assessed $200 in fines and $115.50 in court costs by Judge Rebecca McGinley.

On June 4th, Jeffrey Mathews (46) of Albany pleaded guilty in Gentry County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Stealing. He was assessed $200 in fines and $115.50 in costs by Judge Rebecca McGinley.

On June 4th, Jaslyn Hall (20) of Bethany pleaded guilty in Gentry County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was assessed $150 in fines and $115.50 in court costs by Judge Rebecca McGinley. Hall also had her probation in a previous case for Speeding (26+ mph over) and Minor in Possession of Marijuana revoked for violating her terms and conditions by possessing Marijuana again. She was placed on a new term of probation to end on May 1st, 2026 and ordered to complete 20 hours of community service.

On June 4th, Tristan Trimble (22) of Maryville pleaded guilty in Maryville Municipal Court to charges of Open Container and DWI. He was fined $500 for the DWI, $100 for the Open Container, plus court costs by Judge Robert Rice.

On June 4th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that at 4 pm on Route KK and 135th Street near Elmo in Nodaway County, a collision resulted when a 28 year old man from Elmo fell asleep and struck a 66 year old man from Clarinda, sending him to the hospital with moderate injuries.

On June 4th, Talia Nupp (37) of Bethany pleaded guilty in Daviess County Circuit Court to charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony), Making a False Report (Felony), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Sentencing will be held at a later date.

On June 4th, Christopher Thomas (23) of New Hampton pleaded guilty in Daviess County Circuit Court to charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony) and No Insurance. Sentencing will be held at a later date.

On June 4th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Kyan Douglas (21) of Maryville in Nodaway County on charges of DWI (Prior), Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway, Texting and Driving, No Valid License, and No Insurance.

On June 4th, Blayne Fitzsimmons (36) of Boone (IA) pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to charges of DWI and No Valid License. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Jay Hemenway. Defendant must pay fines of $57.50, court costs, and $300 to the Harrison County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.

On June 4th, Dakoda Wright (32) of Cainsville pleaded guilty in Daviess County Circuit Court to charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was sentenced to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections by Judge Daren Adkins.

On June 4th, Billy Joe Baldwin pleaded guilty in Daviess County Circuit Court to a charge of No Valid License. He was sentenced to three years in the Missouri Department of Corrections by Judge Daren Atkins.

On June 4th, Ricardo Tarango (44) of Coffey pleaded guilty in Daviess County Circuit Court to charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (Felony). He was sentenced to 10 years and 90 days by Judge Daren Atkins.

On June 5th, Christopher Holloway (32) of Peculiar (MO) pleaded guilty in Gentry County Circuit Court to charges of Burglary (Felony) and Damage to Critical Infrastructure Facility (Felony). Sentencing will be held at a later date.

On June 5th, Korbin Fletchall (21) of Stanberry pleaded guilty in Gentry County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of DWI. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Joel Miller and ordered to pay $300 to the Gentry County Enforcement Restitution Fund, $116 in Recoupment, and $115.50 in court costs. Defendant may not possess or consume alcoholic beverages or enter bars or liquor stores.

On June 5th, Logan Evans (34) of Stanberry pleaded guilty in Gentry County Circuit Court to a charge of No Valid License. He was placed on five years probation by Judge Corey Herron. Defendant must serve 30 days shock time in jail with credit for time served, to be served on weekends. Defendant may not drive unless legally reinstated.

On June 5th, Kendall McGinniss (44) of King City pleaded guilty in Gentry County Circuit Court to a charge of Driving While Revoked. He was sentenced to two years in the Missouri Department of Corrections by Judge Corey Herron with credit for 27 days.

On June 5th, Angela Keeling (34) of Maitland failed to appear in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court on a charge of Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident). A warrant was issued and bond set at $200, cash only.

On June 5th, Gerald Hutchinson (66) of Albany pleaded guilty in Gentry County Circuit Court to charges of Unlawful Use of a Weapon (Felony) and Assault. Sentencing will be held at a later date.

On June 5th, Justin Aley (44) of Maryville pleaded guilty in Gentry County Circuit Court to a charge of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony). He was placed on five years probation by Judge Corey Herron. Defendant may not possess or consume alcoholic beverages, enter any bars or liquor stores, and enter and successfully complete the 4th Circuit Alternative Court Program and all aftercare.

On June 5th, Christian Derrickson (29) of Kingston (MO) pleaded guilty in DeKalb County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Domestic Assault. He was fined $400 plus court costs by Judge Drew Davis. Derrickson also pleaded guilty in Caldwell County Associate Circuit Court to two counts Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was ordered to serve 21 days shock time in jail with credit for time served and placed on two years probation by Judge Jason Kanoy.

On June 5th, Judge Ryan Horsman issued a warrant for the arrest of Anthony Logston (35) of Hamilton in Daviess County Circuit Court following a bond violation report. Bond was set at $20,000, cash only. Defendant was awaiting sentencing on two counts Domestic Assault (Felony) and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

On June 5th, Harrison County Prosecutor Michael Wulff filed charges against Anais Saulters (29) of Bethany alleging Possession of Alzalapram (Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Felony), and Possession of Controlled Substance at Jail (Felony). Bond was denied.

On June 6th, Harrison County Prosecutor Michael Wulff filed charges against Kendra Nupp (34) of Ridgeway alleging Hindering Prosecution of a Felony (Felony). Bond was set at $50,000, cash only.

On June 6th, Luke Thompson (25) of Union Star pleaded guilty in Gentry County Circuit Court to charges of DWI (Prior) and Resisting Arrest (Felony). He was placed on two years probation by Judge Corey Herron. Defendant must serve 10 days shock time in jail with credit for two days served and enter and successfully complete a substance abuse treatment program.

On June 6th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 49 year old Pickering man and a 32 year old Maryville man received moderate injuries after the vehicle driven by the Maryville man struck the vehicle driven by the Pickering man in the rear while the latter was stopped on 148 and attempting to turn.

On June 7th, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Kayla Jones (32) of Kansas City alleging Trafficking Methamphetamine (Felony). Bond was denied. 

On June 6th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested John Bohannon (39) of Jameson in Daviess County on charges of DWI, Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway, and No Insurance. 

On June 9th, the Western Missouri District Court of Appeals dismissed the appeal of Julie Bailey regarding the vicious dog complaint filed against her by the City of Maryville. Bailey had appealed the decision  by the city to euthanize the dog.

On June 9th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against David Chandler (44) of King City alleging Driving While Revoked (Felony), Resisting Arrest (Felony), Domestic Assault, DWI, Careless & Imprudent Driving, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Bond was set at $10,000, cash only. 

Charges listed are merely allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
