An Eagleville teen was injured after a car/bike accident in Eagleville Saturday evening at around 5 pm. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a bicycle driven by a 14 year old boy was northbound on 12th street in Eagleville, while a 2009 Toyota SUV driven by Alfred Macali (28) of Gladstone (MO) was eastbound on Route N. The Patrol says the bicycle failed to stop at the stop sign. The Toyota crossed the center line and traveled off the north side of the roadway in order to avoid the bicycle. The bicycle struck the Toyota in the front passenger side, ejecting the 14 year old. The 14 year old boy received moderate injuries and was taken to Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany. Macali was not injured.
