On April 26th, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department reported that a 2004 Jeep driven by Alexi Darrah of Redding was eastbound on 169 and a steering malfunction caused her to enter the eastbound ditch, rolling her jeep. The vehicle was totaled and Darrah was transported to Ringgold County Hospital for evaluation.
On April 27th, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department reported that a vehicle driven by Kristy Penick of Ellston and a vehicle driven by Kimberly Weehler of Mount Ayr collided at the intersection of Jefferson and Polk streets in Mount Ayr. No injuries were reported.
On April 27th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Cody Hartley (32) of Queen City (MO) in Nodaway County on charges of Driving While Suspended and Speeding.
On April 28th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Caleb Phillips filed charges against Curtis Carroll (42) of Hopkins alleging Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony).
On April 30th, a Bethany woman reported that a vicious dog had attacked one of her son’s friends, that her son ran the dog off, and that the dog’s owner then threatened to beat her son.
On April 30th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Terrance Powell (35) of Tulia (TX) in Harrison County on charges of Speeding, No Valid License, and a Phelps County (NE) Felony Warrant for Failure to Appear.
On May 3rd, Nodaway County Prosecutor Caleb Phillips filed charges against Shane Starling (49) of Savannah alleging Domestic Assault (Felony).
Charges listed are mere allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
