All Worth County Immunizations Must be Up to Date

All new Worth County students, kindergarteners, 8th graders, and 12th graders must have immunizations up to date by August 19th, 2025 or your child will not be allowed in the building. If people have questions, contact Amanda Campbell at acampbell@wc.k12.mo.us. Other area schools have similar policies due to state law.

Missouri Law, Section 167.181, requires that students must meet immunization requirements on the first day of school. Missouri law requires that children who are not completely immunized will not be allowed to enroll in the school and will be excluded immediately.

Kindergarten immunizations include DTap, Polio, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella. 8th grade immunizations include MCV4 and Tdap. 12th grade immunizations include MCV4.

The DTap and Tdap vaccines protect against diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough. The MMR protects against measles, mumps, and rubella. The varicella vaccine protects against chicken pox. The MCV4 vaccines protect against meningitis, which is common among college students.
