A Worth County student, Randy Mills, was charged Thursday with Making a Terroristic Threat,
KAAN Radio reported Friday morning. The allegations state that he had gone into details in conversations with other students about how he would do it if he were to bomb the school. KAAN Radio also stated that a teacher had told authorities that he had made similar threats during a tornado drill. The St. Joseph News-Press also reported on the story Friday morning.
Mills was arrested Thursday and was scheduled for a court date Monday, September 9th.
Worth County proceeded with school normally on both Thursday and Friday; there was no lockdown at the school.
Charges listed are mere allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
