Below the Fold Featured on Fox 4

On Thursday, FOX 4 Kansas City did an extended feature on Below the Fold, the movie produced by Worth County grad Clayton Scott, about the disappearance of the fictional Susie Potter. Two journalists uncovered a new detail in the cold case that others missed, sending them off on a hunt across Northwest Missouri, including Worth County.

All of the film was filmed on site. The 2001 cold case disappearance of Branson Perry heavily influenced the film, and the faded billboard was filmed in the movie. It was also influenced by the killing of Ken McElroy in 1981, which gave the town national and international notoriety.

The film will be submitted to film festivals across the US and overseas. The general public will be able to see it next year.
