Worth County’s girls built up a 34-23 lead after three quarters, outscoring East Harrison in every quarter to do so. But then they had to hold off a late Bobcat rally to win 40-36 against their district foes.
Kaylee McElvain led the scoring for the Tigers with 12 as they improved to 3-2 on the year. Anna Gladstone had 9 points and scored her first 3-pointer of the year. Regan Allee had 6, Jessi Badell had 4, Megan Cassavaugh, Kristin New, Merrideth Spiers, and Jill Hardy had 2, and Haley Hunt had 1. Nine different Tigers scored in the win.
