On March 17th, Dacco Muth (20) of Kansas City (KS) pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to a charge of Stealing (Felony). He was placed on five years probation by Judge Corey Herron and ordered to make $1,000 restitution to Ace Hardware.
On March 17th, Amanda King (38) of Maryville pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to a charge of Resisting Arrest. She was placed on two years probation by Judge Corey Herron.
On March 17th, Rebecca Lane (31) of Mound City pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to two counts of Possession of Controlled Substance. She was placed on five years probation by Judge Corey Herron and ordered to complete a substance abuse evaluation.
On March 18th, Calvin Vore (20) of Maryville pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court to three counts Violation of Protection Order. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Robert Rice, given 10 days in jail with credit for time served, and ordered to have no contact with the victim.

On March 18th, Jeremy Thomason (39) of Burlington Junction pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to a charge of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony). He was placed on five years probation by Judge Corey Herron. Defendant must successfully complete a substance abuse evaluation.
On March 18th, Nicholas Perea (22) of Bentonville (AR) pleaded guilty in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court to charges of DWI and No Valid License. He was sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit for time served and fined $300 by Judge Micha Lea Dixon.
On March 18th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Donald Moad (53) of Albany alleging DWI (Felony), Driving While Revoked (Felony), Possession of Methamphetamine (Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Felony), and Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway. Bond was set at $5,000.
On March 19th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Leonard Kewi (43) of Gentry alleging Stealing. Bond was set at $1,000, posted by the defendant. An affidavit from the Gentry County Sheriff’s Department alleges the defendant stole $437.06 worth of ammunition from his employer, DRT.
On March 19th, Heather Stonebarger (55) of King City failed to appear in Gentry County Associate Circuit Court on a Probation Status hearing. A warrant was issued and bond set at $100, cash only. She had been placed on probation for No Valid License and Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident).
On March 19th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Moses Woodfin (22) of Kansas City alleging DWI, No Insurance, Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway, and No Seat Belt.
On March 19th at 12 noon, the North Nodaway school reported an anonymous phone threat at the elementary directed at the high school teachers. Out of an abundance of precaution, the school was locked down and all afterschool activities canceled. Northwest Missouri State received a similar call. The call was traced to an overseas number. The Nodaway County Sheriff’s Office remained on sight at the schools for the remainder of the day.
On March 19th, Judge Corey Herron issued a capias warrant for Ben Marion (52) of Kansas City following a violation report. The defendant had been on probation after pleading guilty to Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony).
On March 19th, Jessica Coats (36) of St. Joseph pleaded guilty in Gentry County Associate Circuit Court to charges of DWI and Speeding. She was placed on two years probation and fined $186 plus court costs by Judge Rebecca McGinley. Defendant may not consume alcohol or enter any establishment whose primary purpose is the sale of alcohol.

On March 20th, William Robertson (73) of Gilman City pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Littering. He was fined $150 by Judge Jay Hemenway.
On March 20th, Tyson Frame (23) of McFall pleaded guilty in Caldwell County Associate Circuit Court to charges of Domestic Assault and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Jason Kanoy.
On March 20th, Dyllon Allen (29) of St. Joseph pleaded guilty in Harrison County Circuit Court to charges of No Valid License (Felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail by Judge Matthew Krohn with credit for time served. Defendant must make $600 contribution to the Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.
On March 20th, Kenneth Poisel (49) of Oklahoma City pleaded guilty in Harrison County Circuit Court to charges of Possession of Controlled Substance in County Jail (Felony) and Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony). He was sentenced to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections by Judge Matthew Krohn.
On March 20th, Harrison County Prosecutor Michael Wulff filed charges against Darold Searle (50) of St. Joseph alleging Tampering with Motor Vehicle (Felony) and two counts Stealing (1 Felony). Bond was set at $25,000, cash only. An affidavit from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department alleges the defendant stole a UTV from someone in Eagleville.
On March 20th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Albert Ferguson (40) of Maryville alleging No Valid License (Felony) and Stealing. An affidavit from the Maryville Police Department alleges the defendant stole license plates from his neighbor. Bond was set at $10,000 signature bond.

On March 20th, Judge Matthew Krohn revoked the probation of Forest Buckman (35) of Bethany in Harrison County Circuit Court after a violation report alleging the defendant violated conditions regarding residency and failure to report. He was sentenced to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. Buckman had been serving probation on charges of Burglary (Felony) and Tampering with Motor Vehicle (Felony).
On March 20th, Susan Chisholm (48) of Lee’s Summit pleaded guilty in Harrison County Circuit Court to charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony), Failure to Register, No Insurance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was placed on five years probation by Judge Matthew Krohn and fined $250.50 plus costs. Defendant must make $600 contribution to the Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.
On March 21st, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Kendall McGinness (44) of King City alleging Driving While Revoked (Felony), DWI (Felony), and Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony). Bond was set at $10,000.
On March 21st, Calvin Vore (20) of Maryville admitted in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court to violating the terms of his probation due to picking up new charges. Vore had been on probation after being convicted of Resisting Arrest, Failure to Register Vehicle, and Improper Turn Signal. Judge Joel Miller continued him on probation and ordered him to serve five days shock time in jail.
On March 21st, Ray County Prosecutor Camille Johnston filed charges against Brad Vincent (44) of Liberty alleging 2nd Degree Murder and Armed Criminal Action. Bond was denied. An affidavit from the Ray County Sheriff’s Department alleges the defendant shot his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend in the Lawson area and then fled the scene. He was apprehended in Clay County following a police chase.
On March 21st, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Lawrence Olson (56) of Trenton in Daviess County on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and No Seat Belt. Charges were filed by Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson the next day. Bond was set at $50,000, cash only.
On March 21st, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Jayson Herwehe (52) of Trenton in Daviess County on a charge of No Valid License (Felony). Charges were filed the next day by Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson. Bond was set at $10,000 with the defendant released on his own recognizance.
On March 23rd, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 2003 Cadillac driven by a 19 year old man failed to negotiate a curve on Route Y ten miles northeast of Bethany at around 11:32 pm. The vehicle struck an embankment, went airborne, and crossed 295th Street. The vehicle then struck several trees before coming to rest. A 12 year old boy from Bethany and a 13 year old boy from Ridgeway were seriously injured and were lifeflighted to Children’s Mercy in Kansas City for treatment. The driver was not injured. Subsequently, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Detroyt Linthacum (19) of Bethany on charges of DWI (Felony, Serious Physical Injury), Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident), and No Seat Belt. Charges were filed by Prosecutor Michael Wulff the next day. Bond was set at $100,000, cash only.
On March 23rd, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Laura King (28) of St. Joseph in Nodaway County on a charge of DWI.
On March 24th, Skylar Hamilton (32) of Albany pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to two charges of Receiving Stolen Property (1 Felony). He was placed on five years probation by Judge Corey Herron. Defendant must serve 30 days in jail to be served on weekends and make restitution of $5,000 to the victim. The case had been moved to Nodaway County on a change of venue.
On March 24th, Harrison County Prosecutor Michael Wulff filed charges against Joshua Custer (41) of Bethany alleging Unlawful Use of a Weapon (Felony) and Assault. Bond was set at $10,000, cash only.
Charges listed are merely allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
