After seeking the Early Bird rained out twice, and only getting one meet in, at King City, the junior high Tigers finally got the first of two meets in last week at Albany.
On the girls side, Stanberry had 111, Albany 71, St. Gregory’s 67, Trenton 58.5, South Harrison 44, Worth County 39.20, King City 36, Mercer 31, Gilman City 28.5, Platte Valley 24.33, North Harrison 21.20, Tri-County 16, Union Star 11.5, Pattonsburg 9, Stewartsville/Osborn 8.5, Maysville 5.33, Winston 2, and Braymer 1.33.
For the boys, Stanberry had 84.5, Trenton 84, King City 79.5, Braymer 57, South Harrison 53, Platte Valley 46, Worth County 36, St. Gregory’s 27, North Harrison 16.5, Gilman City 15, Albany 13, Pattonsburg 11, Union Star 9, Stewartsville/Osborn 7.5, Tri-County 7, and Mercer 2.
For the girls, Lola Morin got a personal best in the 100 with a time of 18.03. Brooklyn Smith got a personal best in the 200 by .46 of a second and was sixth with a time of 31.27. Audrey Runde was fifth in the 100 Hurdles with a season best time of 20.18. Brianna Riley got a personal best with a time of 20.66.
The 4x100 team of Audrey Runde, Brianna Riley, Megan Tracy, and Brooklyn Smith was third with a personal best time of 58.64. The 4x200 team of Audrey Runde, Brianna Riley, Gracie Thurman, and Megan Tracy was fifth with a time of 2:09.39. The 4x400 team of Gracie Thurman, Hartley Fitzgerald, Kennedy Murphy, and Paige Chaney was sixth with a time of 5:33.75.
Paige Chaney matched a personal best in the High Jump and finished in a five way tie for eighth with a height of 1.20 meters. Brynn Chapman matched a personal best with a height of 1.10. Megan Tracy matched a personal best in the Pole Vault and finished second with a height of 2 meters.
Brooklyn Smith was second in the Long Jump with a jump of 3.87 meters. Audrey Runde was sixth in the Triple Jump with a jump of 7.77.
Bree Ray got a personal best in the Shot Put with a throw of 7.22 meters. Braelyn Fletchall got a personal best in the Discus with a throw of 16.15.
The boys got two personal bests in the 100. Maverick Cox took .71 of a second off his time and got a time of 13.62. Jordan Dannar took .31 of a second off his time and got a time of 13.86. Cox got a personal best in the 200 with a time of 29.33. Jordan Dannar was fifth in the 400 with a time of 1:06.42. Mason Hiatt was seventh with a time of 1:10.13. Brock Healy was fifth in the 100 Hurdles with a time of 19.09, a personal best. He took 1.2 seconds off his previous best time.
The 4x100 team of Maverick Cox, Jordan Dannar, Mason Hiatt, and Bentley Frisch was sixth with a time of 56.66.
Bentley Frisch won the Pole Vault with a height of 3 meters, a personal best. Brock Healy matched a personal best and placed sixth with a height of 2.15.
Maverick Cox was eighth in the Long Jump with a jump of 4.24. Jordan Dannar got a personal best with a jump of 3.91. Brock Healy was second in the Triple Jump with a jump of 9.65 meters.
Brock Healy was eighth in the Discus with a throw of 26.85.
North Harrison
For the girls, Raegan Hogan got a season best in the 100 with a time of 14.83. Lily Lane took two seconds off her time in the 200 and got a time of 37.82. Hali Smith was fourth in the 100 Hurdles with a time of 20.15.
Gracie Young got a personal best in the High Jump and got a height of 1.25 meters. Raegan Hogan was in a five way tie for eighth with a height of 1.20 meters. Hali Smith got a personal best in the Pole Vault and finished third with a height of 2 meters.
Hali Smith was fourth in the Long Jump with a jump of 3.73 meters.
Kathryn Parkhurst got a personal best in the Shot Put with a throw of 6.03 meters. Ava Rinehart was sixth in the Discus with a throw of 18.03.
For the boys, they got two personal bests in the 100. Jensen Davis knocked .31 of a second off his time and had 13.58. Ryker Fortner knocked .63 of a second off his time and got 14.37. Axle Allen matched a personal best in the 400 with a time of 1:36.95. Dalton Guy got a personal best in the 100 Hurdles and tied for third with a time of 18.67.
Jensen Davis won the Long Jump with a jump of 4.57 meters.
There were two personal bests in the Shot Put. Henry Frank got a personal best throw of 8.21 meters, while Axle Allen got a personal best throw of 6.39. Kellan Craig got a personal best in the Discus with a throw of 23.30. That was an improvement of 3.49 meters.
