Area Courthouse, Police, and Crime Reports for April 3rd, 2024

On March 23rd, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department arrested Tyson Summers of Omaha on a charge of Possession of Marijuana. Bond was set at $1,000.

On March 27th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Jill Cameron (53) of Bethany alleging Possession of Methamphetamine (Felony).

On March 27th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Randal Hardin (34) of Albany alleging Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident) and No Valid License. An affidavit from the Gentry County Sheriff’s Department alleges the defendant led officers on a police chase and crashed their vehicle.

On March 27th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Robert Rother (67) of Maitland alleging Failure to Register and Possession of Methamphetamine (Felony). Bond was denied. 

On March 28th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Michael Knight (37) of McFall alleging Obstructing Government Operations and Peace Disturbance. An affidavit from the Gentry County Sheriff’s Department alleges the defendant obstructed and threatened a Child Protective Services worker.

On March 28th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Alexis Rogers (17) of Stanberry alleging Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident). An affidavit from the Missouri State Highway Patrol alleges the defendant, while attempting to pass a semi truck, struck the truck in the left front, damaging it. 

On March 28th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Jimmie Daniel (53) of Fort Dodge (IA) in Harrison County on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Speeding.

On March 28th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Christopher Nelson (35) of St. Joseph alleging Driving While Revoked (Felony). 

On March 28th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Fernando Diaz (35) of Leavenworth (KS) in Harrison County on a Cass County Warrant (Traffic Violation). 

On March 29th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Jessica Coats (35) of St. Joseph alleging Endangering the Welfare of a Child, DWI, Speeding (69 mph), and No Insurance. 

On March 29th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Caiden Hash (19) of Lathrop alleging Speeding (83 mph), Careless & Imprudent Driving (Passing Several Vehicles in a No Passing Zone), Minor in Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

On March 29th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Christopher Thomas (21) of Eagleville in Harrison County on a Harrison County Warrant (Nuisance Violation).

On March 29th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested William Cain (33) of Cainsville in Harrison County on charges of DWI, Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway, No Insurance, and No Seat Belt.

On March 29th, Harrison County Prosecutor Alex Van Zandt filed chares against Jimmie Dankel (54) of Fort Dodge alleging Possession of Methamphetamine (Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Speeding. Bond was set at $15,000, cash only.

On April 1st, Harrison County Prosecutor Alex Van Zandt filed charges against Fabian Mendoza (38) of Riva Palacio (Mexico) alleging Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident) and Wrong Way on Divided Highway. An affidavit from the Missouri State Highway Patrol alleges the defendant entered the wrong way on the Interstate, attempted to turn around, and got stuck, causing an accident. 

On April 1st, Special Prosecutor Myra Stout filed charges against Kevin Nible (47) of Bethany in Harrison County alleging Non-Support (Felony, $4,750.00 in arrears).

On April 1st, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 2006 Dodge 1500 driven by Bryan Ginther (31) of Stanberry was westbound on 136 at around 2:36 pm four miles west of Stanberry. The vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the east side, struck two highway signs, and overturned. Ginther received moderate injuries and was taken to Mosaic in Maryville. 

On April 1st, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Skylar Hamilton (31) of Albany alleging three counts Receiving Stolen Property (2 Felonies). An affidavit from the Gentry County Sheriff’s Department alleges the defendant stole a firearm and fishing gear from a residence in Albany. 

On April 1st, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Ruth Boe (52) of Coffey in Harrison County on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine (Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and No Seat Belt. Charges were filed the next day by Prosecutor Alex Van Zandt. Bond was set at $15,000, cash only.

On April 1st, Harrison County Prosecutor Alex Van Zandt filed charges against Bryan Wolfe (33) and Dakoda Wright (31) of Cainsville alleging Burglary. An affidavit from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department alleges the defendants stole copper pipes and copper wire from an abandoned house. Bond for each was set at $10,000, cash only.

On April 1st, Harrison County Prosecutor Alex Van Zandt filed charges against Larry Guerber (58) of Polo alleging Passing a Bad Check. An affidavit from a local business alleges the defendant wrote a check in December for $285.79 that was returned for insufficient funds.

On April 2nd, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Peyton Buhman (27) of King City alleging DWI (13.7% Blood Alcohol Content) and Excessive Vision Reducing Material on Car Windows.

On April 2nd, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Faith Marshall (38) of Blockton alleging two counts Stealing. Affidavits from the Maryville Police Department allege the defendant stole $100 worth of merchandise from Hy-Vee in Maryville in January and February 2024 and $192 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart in Maryville on April 24th, 2023.

On April 2nd, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Christi Bradshaw (55) of Maryville alleging Possession of Methamphetamine. Bond was set at $5,000, signature bond.

On April 2nd, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Debra Parsons (38) of Ravenwood alleging DWI (14.1% Blood Alcohol Content). 

On April 2nd, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Ryan King (19) of Liberty alleging Possession of Fictitious Driver’s License.

On April 2nd, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Tanner Davison (24) of Gravity alleging Careless & Imprudent Driving (Driving Backwards in Middle of Roadway) and DWI. 

Charges listed are merely allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
