Rosella Bowles, age 76, of Eagleville, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024. She was born in Agana, Guam on September 28, 1947, to the late Vicente Champaco DeJesus and Rosalia Taitingfong Hudson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Erica Bowles, sisters Clara Aguon and Felisa Pangelinan, and brother James Hudson. Rosella is survived by her husband of the past 56 years, Johnny Bowles; 3 children, Monica (Dean) Wilson, Bonita (Leroy) Jenkins, Jody (Erin) Bowles; 11 grandchildren, Brent, Amber, Kayka, Britni, Matthew, Megan, Jonathan, Blake, Katie, Carson, Nikiya; sisters Roberta Flores, Carmelita Kawamoto, Barbara Hudson, Gregoria Noble, and brother William Hudson, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and good friends. The family received friends and family on Thursday, April 11th, 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, at the Eagleville Christian Church. Interment followed at Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the staff of Decatur County Hospital and Harrison County Hospice for the loving care and support they provided. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
