The Trojanette 10 U Red team kicked off the 2011 season at the Tanel Classic at Adair Park in Independence on April 30th and May 1st. Amanda Bohannon of Barnard threw the season’s first no hitter striking out 9 hitters in 3 innings of work. On the offensive side Haley Hunt of Grant City hit a towering grand slam home run. Hunt and Stephanie Carroll of Platte City led the hitting attack with 2 hits. Makina Russell of Bedford, Peyton Gage of Stanberry and Dakota Goucher of King City had hits as well.
