Resurfacing Projects In Harrison County To Begin In June

The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced that three resurfacing projects scheduled for Harrison County are set to begin in June (weather permitting.) Route M, Route N, and US 69 Hwy. will be resurfaced by Norris Asphalt Paving Co. of Ottumwa, Iowa. The roadwork will be done in the order listed below.

  • Route M - Week of June 6th - Resurfacing between Route D to US 69 in Eagleville - for a length of 6.7 miles
  • Route N - Week of June 6th - Resurfacing between US 69 to east of I-35 - for a length of .70 miles
  • US 69 - Week of June June 13th - Resurfacing between Route M and Route A - for a length of 6.9 miles

The work planned above is weather permitting and work schedules could change. Area maintenance crews are currently preparing these routes for the upcoming resurfacing projects. During the contract resurfacing projects motorists will be directed by a pilot car and flaggers. Brief delays may be expected while this work is underway.
