Congressman Sam Graves, the Chairman of the Small Business Committee, will host a small business expo in the
Kansas City area next month. The Third Annual Sixth Congressional District Small Business Expo will be held on March 21st at the
Kansas City Police Academy in Shoal Creek. Corey Owens from Facebook will be the keynote speaker for the event, which will also feature different panel topics to choose from and a question and answer session with the panelists.
“Small Businesses create 7 out of every 10 jobs in America,” said Graves. “This is a great opportunity for small business owners to network and gain information to help grow their business.”
The Expo will have several different panel topics for attendees to choose from including: Access to Capital; Getting the most out of your Social Media; The Healthcare Law and What it Means for You; Best Business Practices; Growing Your Business with the USDA and Missouri Economic Development.
