Gentry County U.S. 136 Hwy. Resurfacing Project Scheduled To Start In April

The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced that the resurfacing project in Gentry County on U.S. 136 Hwy. between Route C in Albany and the Harrison County line could start as early as April 1st weather permitting. The project is expected to take three weeks to complete.

Herzog Contracting Corp. of St. Joseph, Missouri was awarded the contract for this seven mile resurfacing project in the amount of $1,510,481.36.

During this project, U.S. 136 Hwy. will be narrowed to one lane of traffic. Pilot cars and flaggers will be directing traffic through the work zone. Brief delays are expected. Motorists are reminded to reduce their speed and drive with caution through the work zone. Work will take place each day between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
