Worth County Population Falls to 2,171 in 2010 Census

Worth County's population has fallen to 2,171, down 211 people from the 2000 census. Grant City fell from 926 to 859, a drop of 7.2%. Sheridan rose by 10 people from 185 to 195 people. Worth dropped from 94 to 63 people. Allendale dropped by one person from 54 to 53. Denver dropped from 40 to 39 people while Irena dropped from 33 to 18 people. In Nodaway County, Parnell dropped by six residents from 197 to 191. Ravenwood dropped from 448 to 440.
