Charles K. Kaiser, age 71, Blockton, Iowa formerly of Rockford, Illinois died February 11, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.
Charles “Chuck” was born October 11, 1950, in Rockford, Illinois the son of the late Ralph W. and Geneva (Yeager) Kaiser.
Charles was a graduate of Rockford West High School, Rockford.
He was united in marriage to Sharilyn Smith June 2, 1973, in Rockford. To this union four children were born Jennifer, Elizabeth, Laura, and James.
Charles had worked as a machine mechanic for the former Essex Wire company for 25 years. After moving to Iowa Charles and Sherri operated the Grant City Eatery in Grant City, Missouri. He also loved going to auctions whenever time permitted and listening to KMA’s Elephant Shop.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Ralph William Kaiser, Jr and Roger Kaiser, and one sister Sharon Long.
His survivors include: Wife Shari of the home, Blockton, three daughters, Jennifer Kaiser, Greensboro, North Carolina, Elizabeth (Vince) Cox, South Beloit, Illinois, Laura ( Rosalio) Hernandez, Marshalltown, Iowa, and son James Kaiser, Rockford, Illinois, two brothers Dave Kaiser, Machesney Park, Illinois, Robert (Jan) Kaiser, Lena Illinois, five grandchildren Mikhaela, Manuel, Christian, Justina, Domnic, three great grandchildren Daymein, Makenna and Zahra, and a host of other friends and loved ones.
Mr. Kaiser’s body has been cremated under the care of Andrews-Hann Funeral Home, Grant City, Missouri. Memorial graveside services and inurnment will be held at the Willwood Burial Park, Rockford, Illinois at a later date.
