Barbara Anne Jackson, 76, Liberty, MO, formerly of Clearmont, MO went to Heaven Sunday, July 24, 2016, at Liberty Health and Wellness Rehabilitation Center, Liberty. She died as she had lived, with courage and grace.
Barbara was born September 30, 1939, in Sheridan, Missouri to William Harry and Neva Marie (Sparks) Sumy. She married Stephen Maurice Jackson September 7, 1958, in Skidmore, MO.
A 1957 graduate of Pickering, MO High School, she was a farm wife and she and Steve owned and operated the Maryville, MO H & R Block office for 32 years. She loved spending time with her family.
Barbara was a member of the Clearmont Methodist Church, and American Quarter Horse Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Stephen Jackson (June 29, 2011), and sister Mary Evelyn Florea.
Barbara is survived by sons Keith (Lori) Jackson, New Bern, NC and Kurt (Lynn) Jackson, Liberty, MO; five grandchildren Nathanael, Eli, Luke, Seth,and Noah Jackson; brothers Marvin (Geraldine) Sumy, Skidmore and Ron Sumy, Odessa, MO; sisters: Betty Hankins, Graham, MO; Ramona (Jerry) Harrington, Maryville; Shirley (Raymond) Enders, Williamsburg, OH; Carolyn (Roger) Weston, Peachtree City, GA; Linda (Steve) Shupp, Danville, PA and Rita Wells, Belleville, IL.
Visitation is 6-8 PM, Thursday, July 28th, at Price Funeral Home, Maryville.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Friday July 29th, at Price Funeral Home with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery, Skidmore.
