What started out as a smoke shop has turned into a variety store in Hopkins. While it still serves a clientele of tobacco customers, they now offer such things as jewelry, Red Rock Relish, concealed carry handbags, baby dolls, toy picnic tables, and other local crafts and items. Owner Cheri Riddle, who bought the business from the original owner, said she plans to sell honey and even more items. It is now known as Cheri's Boutique. It is located next to Wilson's Grocery and the 148 Cafe in Hopkins near the intersection of 148 and JJ. She said she tries to sell different items from time to time and is always open to selling new items.
The store now has a game room, where kids can come in to play video games. There is a pinball machine as well as some other games. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 7 pm, Friday to Saturday from 8:30 to 9, and Sunday from 9 to 2. Their phone number is (660) 778-3754.
