Northeast Nodaway School has Family Fun Night

Family Fun Night 2011 was celebrated at the Northeast Nodaway School. Pizza was served at $1 per slice, with cookies and drink included. After visiting all of the activities, parents could take their children to the prize booth where they could cash in their tickets for prizes. They were able to visit the games and activities as many times as they wanted.

Among activities were a photo booth, a pressure room, a ticket walk, a science demonstration room where scientific experiments were conducted, a "Beat the Dealer" game where kids had a chance to play cards, a ring toss, an "electric car" demonstration where kids could have balloons rubbed against their hair and then they could set it on the floor and have them magically roll to demonstrate the principles of electricity, a treasure hunt where kids could scoop in the sand to find treasures, a bounce house, and a hairdo and tattoo stand. The most popular event was the jousting arena, where kids went onto an inflatable platform and tried to knock each other off.
