Yes, There Was a Worth County Lumber Yard in 1905

Yes, there was a Worth County Lumber Yard back in 1905. It was managed by C. R. Dowlin. The following advertisement appeared in the October 19th, 1905 issue:

No matter how hard he works, he won’t be able to provide you good results in your building unless you supply him with good material to work. That’s as plain as the nose on your face. The strength and durability of Lime, Cement, Plaster, etc., depends entirely on its qualify, and if you sacrifice that to mere cheapness, it’s going to cost you more in the long run. Remember, that every piece of Lime, Cement, and Plaster you buy here is absolutely reliable, and “The Man With The Hoe” simply can’t help but get satisfactory results from it, and what’s true regarding the above is equally true of our entire stock. The best that can be found in our neck of the woods. Prices as low as anybody’s.
