Sheridan Teen Lifeflighted After Wreck

A Sheridan teen was lifeflighted following a wreck Monday afternoon at around 4:41 pm. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2003 Chrysler Town & Country driven by Dillan Gavigan (18) of Sheridan was eastbound on Walnut Street east of Route 246 in Sheridan when he slid on the snow covered roadway, went off the south side, struck a tree, returned to the road, went off the north side, and struck a sign. It then struck a concrete walkway and a tree before coming to rest.

Gavigan received serious injuries and was life flighted to Mosaic in St. Joseph. A 13 year old boy who was a passenger received moderate injuries and was taken to Mosaic in Maryville.
