Julie Tracy, Linda Brown, Barb Foland Won’t Seek Reelection

Tax Collector Julie Tracy, Treasurer Linda Brown, and Recorder of Deeds Barb Foland all told the Sheridan Express they would not be seeking reelection this year. 

As of Wednesday, Stephanie Hardy has filed for Treasurer. Cheyenne Troutwine has filed for Recorder of Deeds. Jessica Davidson has filed for Collector. Incumbents Roberta Owens (County Clerk), Jubal Summers (Presiding Commissioner), Jana Findley (Circuit Clerk), and Joel Miller (Associate Circuit Judge) have all filed for reelection. 

The filing deadline for the county offices for the August primary is March 29th.

Contests have developed for both the Worth County and Northeast Nodaway school boards. Josh Fletchall, Ashley Rush, and Brad Maudlin have filed for the Worth County School Board. For Northeast Nodaway, Karl Wilmes, Kenna Florea, and Randa Doty have filed. Both school board positions elect two members. The filing deadline has passed for the school board seats.

For Grant City, incumbents Catherine Runde and Bruce Downing have filed for reelection. They are unopposed.
