On February 25th, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department arrested Sebastian Sweat (22) of Blockton alleging DWI, No Valid License, Open Container, and No Insurance. Bond was set at $1,000.
On March 1st, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Jhonny Lara-Rodriguez (43) of Kansas City alleging DWI, Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident), and No Valid License.
On March 1st, Nodaway County Prosecutor Caleb Phillips filed charges against Stephen Farnan (34) of Barnard alleging DWI (Felony), Failure to Signal, and No Insurance.
On March 1st, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Bladden Greenhalgh (18) of Stanberry alleging Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident). On March 2nd, the defendant pleaded guilty and was required to complete a driver improvement program, 6 months court supervised probation, and 15 hours community service with the City of Stanberry.
On March 1st, Nodaway County Prosecutor Caleb Phillips filed charges against Matthew Felton (44) of Maryville alleging DWI and Failure to Place Stopped Vehicle as Near to Right Hand Side as Possible.
On March 1st, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department arrested Kevin Ray (32) of Delphos on a warrant for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was being held on no bond until seen by the magistrate.
On March 2nd, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Bailey Brown (29) of Creston in Nodaway County on charges of DWI and No Valid License.
On March 2nd, Harrison County Prosecutor Johnathan Meyer filed charges against Jeffrey Godron (31) of Runnels (IA) alleging DWI and Speeding (26+ mph over).
On March 2nd, Harrison County Prosecutor Johnathan Meyer filed charges against Jay Lee Thomas (40) of Bethany alleging No Valid License (Felony).
On March 3rd, the Harrison County Health Department reported two COVID deaths. The total number of deaths in the county is 33.
On March 3rd, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested David Brant (43) of Savannah in Worth County on charges of No Valid License, No Plates, and an Andrew County Warrant for Failure to Appear (Traffic Violation).
On March 3rd, Nodaway County Prosecutor Caleb Phillips filed charges against Anthony Daleske (19) of Redding alleging Sexual Abuse.
On March 4th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Justin McQuinn (43) of Bethany in Harrison County on charges of No Valid License, No Insurance, and warrants from Clinton County, Daviess County, and the City of Trenton.
On March 4th, Special Prosecutor Tara Cluck filed charges against Jerry Bammer (35) of St. Joseph in Nodaway County alleging two counts Non-Support.
On March 5th, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department arrested Jada Mate (38) of Kellerton on a charge of Felon in Possession of Firearm. Bond was set at $5,000, cash only.
On March 6th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 2009 Chevy Tahoe driven by Urizardo Rojas Bautista (23) of St. Joseph was northbound at the intersection of Route H and V five miles west of Maryville when he failed to stop, continued northbound, traveled off the north edge of Route V, struck an embankment, struck a utility pole, overturned, and came to rest on the driver’s side facing southeast on top of a fence. Four passengers, Harri Huarcas (20) of St. Joseph, Jeronzmo Osvaldo (21) of St. Joseph, Yonico Perez (23) of St. Joseph, and Rigoberto Mendez (30) of St. Joseph, were all injured. Subsequently, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Rojas Bautista on charges of DWI (Felony, Serious Physical Injury), Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident), Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway (Accident), Failure to Stop, and No Valid License. Nodaway County Prosecutor Caleb Phillips filed charges on March 6th, and bond was denied.
On March 6th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 2014 Dodge Ram driven by Cassie (37) of Stanberry was eastbound on Route M in Nodaway County near Route N at around 7:47 pm, began to slide on the snow covered roadway, crossed the center of the roadway, and traveled off the north side, when it struck a tree, became airborne, and overturned. She was seriously injured and taken to Mosaic in Maryville.
On March 7th at around 7:10 am, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 2006 GMC pickup driven by Chastiti Robbins (34) of Bethany was northbound on I-35 four miles south of Eagleville when she skidded off the right side of the ice covered roadway, overcorrected, and skidded into the path of a 2016 KW driven by Mario Zavquez-Reyes (48) of Allende (Mexico). Robbins received minor injuries while Zavquez-Reyes was not injured.
On March 7th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Tanveer Ahmad (26) of Normal (IL) in Harrison County on a charge of Speeding (102 mph).
On March 7th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against Jennifer Baker (55) of Redding alleging Receiving Stolen Property. The defendant pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 6 months probation by Judge Joel Miller.
Charges listed are mere allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
