Patricia Joyce Baker Peterson, 73, of Lakeland, and a former Worth County
resident, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012, at a hospital in Tampa, FL.
Born February 5, 1939 west of Grant City, she was the daughter of Wilber Loyd
'Buck' and Helen Quete (Herndon) Baker. She attended the Prairie Star, Parnell
and Grant City elementary schools before moving with her family to St Joseph in
1952.
She is survived by children, Stephen, Shelly, Wesley and Scott;
adopted son, Steven; her mother, Helen, of St Joseph; brothers Albert of
Allendale, MO and Loyd of St Joseph. She is also survived by her aunt, Icle
Young, of Sheridan, MO and uncle, Charles Herndon, of Stewartsville,
MO.
Mrs. Peterson's body has been cremated. No memorial service is
planned.
