Worth County School Seeks to Build New Sidewalk from High Street to School

The Worth County School is working on a grant to build a sidewalk from High Street to the school and add sidewalks around the school in a project that Superintendent Matt Robinson says will encourage kids to ride their bikes or walk to school. The sidewalk would go on the road that is currently closed to traffic right before and right after school starts. The grant is a $200,000 grant and would not cost the school anything because it does not require a match. Robinson said that if it is approved, work could begin right away. Janice Borey did most of the leg work in applying for the grant for the school.
