North Harrison’s girls racked up 67 team points and the boys 58 points at the Midget Relays at Putnam County Wednesday. For the girls, Putnam County ran away with the meet with 211 points. Newtown-Harris had 120½, North Harrison 67, East Harrison 64, and Milan 38½. For the boys, Putnam County had 195, Newtown-Harris 183, Milan 120, North Harrison 58, and East Harrison 26. Lily Shovick, Tyson Gibson, and Owan Roberson all got first place finishes there.
For the girls, Kira Robertson was third with a time of 30.9 in the 200, close to a personal best. Erika Gerken was fourth with a time of 31.3. The Shamrocks placed two in the 100 Hurdles as Gerken was second with a time of 20.8 and Kira Robertson third with a time of 20.9, close to a personal best. Erika got her second runner-up finish in the 300 Hurdles, getting a time of 1:06.3.
Halle Morgan was fourth in the Triple Jump with a jump of 28’7¼”. Lily Shovick won the Shot Put with a throw of 29’8¾”. Kira Robertson was seventh with a throw of 22’11¼”. Lily was second in the Discus with a throw of 77’6”. Erika Gerken was fifth with a throw of 71’10½”. Halle Morgan was fifth in the Javelin with a throw of 80’9”. Lily Shovick was eighth with a throw of 64’1”.
For the boys, Griffin Dougherty got a personal best in the 100 with a time of 13.9.
Tyson Gibson matched a personal best in the High Jump and won with a height of 5’7”. Kolton Graham was fourth in the Long Jump with a jump of 16’5¾”. Gibson won the Triple Jump with a jump of 43’5¾”.
The Shamrocks placed two in the Shot Put. Kolton Graham was fifth with a throw of 31’10¾”. Griffin Dougherty was eighth with a throw of 23’5½”. Owan Roberson won the Discus with a throw of 101’8½”. Dillon Hartschen was fifth with a throw of 80 feet. Tyson Gibson was second in the Discus with a throw of 120’4½”. Owan Roberson was fourth with a throw of 105’9”.
