The Grant City High School Class of 1928 announced commencement exercises for 1928, with 27 students graduating. The Worth County Tribune listed the graduates in its May 9th issue. Graduating that year were Dale Andrews, Arloa Chapman, Ella Cloud, Carl Duckworth, Louise Elliott, Claude Garrett, Ethel Goff, Madeline Hass, Mildred Harris, Chloris Hathaway, Ralph Kinney, Jessie Miller, Mildred Moreland, Georgia Mitchell, Dorris Oehler, Arthur Rauch, Walter Rinehart, Agnes Scadden, Virgil Scadden, Roy Wilson, Don Wilkinson, Kenneth Worl, Voncelle Yetter, Lavelle Yetter, Lewis Oehler, and Harold Thompson.
The exercises were held at the Methodist Church. Admission was 25 cents; in a rare case of prices going down over the years, admission to graduations is now free.
