OATS is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. In 1971, they were started with three vehicles and five drivers serving eight counties. Now, they serve most of the state, including Worth, Nodaway, Gentry, and Harrison counties.
It offers weekly service in Worth County, making two trips to Maryville, one to Bethany, and one to Stanberry per month. It is open to people of all ages. To reserve a ride, call 800-831-9219.
