The Worth County R-III School District will hold parent-teacher conferences on October 29, 2020 from 1:15 pm to 7:15 pm. The district plans to hold conferences with parents face-to-face with masks.
“For those parents, who are uncomfortable coming to the school, staff will schedule a virtual conference or a phone conference with the parents,” said Mr. Chuck Borey, Elementary Principal.
While the elementary teachers will schedule conferences and notify parents, the high school teachers will meet with parents on a first come first served basis.
“For those high school parents needing to do a virtual conference with teachers, we ask for them to please contact the school early, so we can make arrangements to have all of the students teachers available,” said Jon Adwell.
The district requests that only the parents or guardians of the students attend the conference. Siblings should not come to the school in order to minimize the number of people in the building. As always, social and physical distance is strongly encouraged.
“We also ask for parents to understand that these plans may change as the situation in our community changes,” said Dr. Matthew Martz, superintendent. “We always intend to keep everyone safe.”
