Courthouse News for October 14th, 2020

 On October 6th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Tony Bennett (28) of Cainsville in Harrison County on charges of DWI (2nd Offense), Leaving the Scene (Felony), Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident), No Insurance, and Driving While Revoked. Charges were filed on October 7th. Bond was set at $15,000, cash only.

On October 6th, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department arrested Dustin Nall (39) of Kellerton on a charge of Assault with Intent to Commit Serious Injury. He is being held on no bond until seen by a magistrate.

On October 7th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Caleb Phillips filed charges against Dalton Coates (23) of Ocala (FL) alleging DWI, Careless & Imprudent Driving, and Failure to Stop.

On October 8th, a Sheridan resident reported the theft of some chainsaws. 

On October 8th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Jessica Loman (31) of Maryville alleging Stealing. Northeast Mo Info reports that the charges arose after the defendant allegedly took three phone charging cords valued at $53 from Casey’s in Albany and concealed them in her pants.

On October 8th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Caleb Phillips filed charges against Roger Knight (17) of Ravenwood alleging Harassment (Felony) and two counts Domestic Assault. Bond was set at $10,000, cash only.

On October 8th, Harrison County Prosecutor Johnathan Meyer filed charges against Lesa Gard (55) of Bethany alleging Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident). Northwest Mo Info reports that the charges arose after a fatal wreck on August 6th that took the life of Diane Gibson (68) of Bethany. 

On October 8th, Harrison County Prosecutor Johnathan Meyer filed charges against Kimberly Johnson (47) of Wamega (KS) alleging DWI.

On October 9th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Caleb Phillips filed charges against Jessy Todd (34) of Maryville alleging Domestic Assault (Felony).

On October 9th, four Joe Biden signs were stolen in Worth. 

On October 9th, the Polk County (IA) Sheriff’s Department arrested Sierra McNamara on a Ringgold County Warrant for Failure to Appear (Possession of Prescription Drugs). 

On October 10th, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department arrested John Berger on charges of DWI, No Insurance, and Violation of Open Container Law.

On October 10th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Candy Roberts (37) of King City alleging Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident) and No Seat Belt.

Charges listed are mere allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
