Ismael Torres-Vega, 50, of Hopkins, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 3, 2020.
Ismael was born on April 3, 1970 in Empalme Sonora, Mexico to Roberto and Mercedes (Vega) Torres. He was a grain handler for Green Plains in Hopkins, Missouri and attended Wray Memorial United Methodist Church in Hopkins. Ismael enjoyed old pick-up trucks and mowing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roberto Torres and his sister-in-law, Lisa Willey and brother-in-law, Aaron Riley.
He married Jennifer “Tootie” Riley on January 29, 2000 in Hopkins. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include their two sons, Garrett and Wade Torres; mother, Mercedes Torres; four sisters, Martina, Alicia, Beatrice and Karina; three brothers, Jose, Julio and Santana; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Maurice and Donna Riley and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ismael has been cremated under the care of Price Funeral Home in Maryville. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at the Wray Memorial United Methodist Church in Hopkins, Missouri. www.pricefuneralhomemaryville.com.
