Five New Coronavirus Cases in Nodaway County

New cases have tailed off in Nodaway County following the passage by Maryville of a mask ordinance. However, the Coronavirus is still spreading in the community.

Last Tuesday, there were three new Coronavirus cases reported. One was a male between 30 and 39, another was a male between 50 and 59, and another a male between 70 and 79. Last Monday, there were two new cases. One was a male between 30 and 39, and another was a male between 50 and 59. All individuals are being isolated in private residences.

As of Wednesday evening, there were 177 cases in Nodaway County. Out of those, 124 are no longer in isolation and have recovered. Nine people have been hospitalized; out of those, five have been released.
If you are not contacted by a health official, you are not a close contact, and you are not at increased risk.
