Melissa Chapman, the Grant City woman who recently went missing, has not been found as of Tuesday afternoon. A Bethany man, Jeremiah Searles, has been arrested and his bond revoked in a Harrison County court case involving Chapman. A new bond of $100,000, cash only, has been set by Judge Thomas Alley. Subsequently, Harrison County Prosecutor Johnathan Meyer filed a motion to forfeit the bond. A hearing for that motion will be held on September 25th.
One community vigil has already been held for Chapman. Another such vigil will be held on the Grant City Square Wednesday night at 6 pm.
