Andrew Alarcon vaulted his way into the recordbooks Friday. He had 38 carries for 313 yards in Worth County’s 54-42 win, which is third on the recordbook. Brevyn Ross had 315 yards in Worth County’s 88-40 playoff victory against Rock Port in 2015, while Austin Findley had 375 yards in Worth County’s 68-52 District Title game against Stanberry in 2005. The other person to break the 300 yard barrier was Rick Farrell, who had 302 yards on the ground in Worth County’s 34-12 win over Stanberry in 1982, when Worth County was still playing 11 man football.
