Grant City Teen Wrecks After Encounter with Deer

 On 09/08/20 at approximately 10:25 pm the Ringgold County Sheriff's Department received a call that a vehicle was in the ditch at 169 and 240th Street. Upon arrival and investigation, a Red Ford Taurus was located in the east ditch. Calli Mancuso (17) of Grant City swerved to miss a deer then applied the brakes and swerved to the right. When Mancuso swerved to the right the vehicle exited the roadway onto the shoulder, traveled a short distance then Mancuso over corrected then skid across the highway where the vehicle came to rest in the east ditch. Mancuso was examined by Ringgold County Hospital EMS for injuries then was released to her parents. The Taurus had disabling damage that will require towing.
