Courthouse News for December 26th

On December 18th, Timothy Newton (49) of Lamoni, IA was located at Shopko in Mount Ayr, IA. Newton was arrested by the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department on an outstanding warrant for Driving While Barred. Newton was booked into the Ringgold County Jail and released on bond.

On December 18th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Joseph De La Paz (37) of Maryville alleging No Valid License (2nd Offense) and Failure to Register.

On December 18th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Carrie McLead (43) of Mount Ayr alleging DWI, No Valid License, and Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway.

On December 19th, Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer filed charges against Erin Miller (27) of Ridgeway alleging Tampering with Motor Vehicle (Felony).

On December 19th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Jennifer Bates (32) of Maryville in Nodaway County alleging DWI and Careless & Imprudent Driving.

On December 19th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Patrick Quinlan (51) of Lenexa (KS) in Harrison County on a Saline County Warrant for Speeding. He was also arrested for No Valid License and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was being held in Harrison County on bond.

Jarrod Brown, 34, of Lenox, was arrested on December 19, 2018 in the 600 block of South Walnut St in Lenox by the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office. Brown was involved in an incident at the Lenox City Hall. Brown was charged with disorderly conduct. Brown is being held at the Taylor County Sheriff's Office on $300 bond, until seen by a Magistrate.

Kyle Gile, of Des Moines, was arrested on December 19, 2018 in the 600 block of East Ohio St in Lenox by the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department. He was wanted on an active Adams County Warrant for failure to appear on a probation violation. During the traffic stop, Gile was found to be driving under suspension. Gile was additionally charged with open container. Gile was transported to Adams County for booking.

Richard Haila, 26, of Bedford, was arrested on December 20, 2018 in the 1100 block of Illinois St in Bedford by the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department. Haila was charged with Child Endangerment Causing Bodily Injury, a class D felony. Haila is being held at the Taylor County Sheriff's Office on $5,000 cash only bond.

On December 20th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Daniella Sivels (34) of St. Paul (MN) in Harrison County alleging she was a fugitive from out of state. She was also charged with Driving Under the Influence of Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Speeding 92 miles per hour.

On December 20th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Charles Turner (33) of Maryville alleging Stealing and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (prior).

On December 20th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Gary Wilmes (52) of Maryville alleging No Insurance.

On December 21st, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Brandon Hanaway (36), a homeless man living in Maryville, alleging 3rd Degree Assault (Felony) and 4th Degree Assault.

On December 21st, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Orin Hill (51) of Maryville alleging Driving While Revoked (2nd or 3rd Offense).

On December 21st, Worth County Prosecutor Brett Hurst filed charges against Gregory Carson (20) of Grant City alleging Failure to Register as a Sex Offender (Felony).

On December 21st, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Scott Thruman (41) of Delphos in Harrison County on charges of Possession of Meth (Felony), Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and No Seat Belt.

 On December 22, 2018 2018 at 5:43 pm James Teague Jr. age 42 of Benton, was arrested by the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant issued by Dallas County, Iowa for two counts of Sex Abuse 2nd degree. He was being held on no bond until seen by a magistrate.

On December 22nd, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Denise Wilgus (34) of Gilman City in Harrison County on charges of Driving Under the Influence of Drugs, Failure to Drive on Right Half, and No Valid Plates.

On December 22nd, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Jane Kriens (44) of Omaha in Nodaway County on charges of Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident) and DWI (Felony Persistent Offender).

On December 23rd, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Mason Johnson (21) of Bemidji (MN) in Harrison County on charges of Speeding 106 mph and Possession of Marijuana.

On December 23rd, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Reilly Harbison (21) of Tulsa (OK) in Harrison County on charges of Speeding 108 mph and DWI.

Charges listed are mere allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
