Collin Sager Makes Full Length Shot to Sink South Harrison Boys

Collin Sager made a full court buzzer-beater and Stanberry’s boys sunk South Harrison 42-40 to claim consolation Friday at the Albany Tournament. Neither team had the start they wanted to, with Stanberry falling to Princeton and South Harrison falling to Worth County in the first round.

South Harrison was shooting a free throw with .7 of a second left leading 40-39. The free throw was unsuccessful, and Sager’s successful heave put Stanberry over the top.

This was the second time South Harrison had been victimized by such a shot this decade. Several years ago, in a junior varsity game between South Harrison and Worth County, Cole Parman made a full-court heave to sink the Bulldogs at Worth County.
