On July 16th, Gentry County Prosecutor David B. Parman filed charges against Raymond Burks (51) of Albany alleging nine counts of Kidnapping involving Facilitating a Felony, Inflicting Injury, and Terrorizing between November 1st, 2017 and July 1st. He was also charged with one count of 3rd Degree Domestic Assault, one county of 1st Degree Domestic Assault, nine counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and one count of Abuse of a Child involving Serious Emotional or Physical Injury.

Maryville DPS is requesting assistance with an investigation that occurred on 7-20-18, 2:20 PM at Consumer Oil, 101 North Depot Street. A Silver SUV hooked up to a new gray GWS gravity wagon and left traveling north on North Depot Street. There is a wagon pictured on Public Safety’s Facebook page that is exactly like the one stolen. Vehicle is confirmed to be a Chevy Tahoe. Has a silver/chrome brush guard and BF Goodrich All-Terrain TA tires. The Tahoe is a 2013 or 2014 model. Please contact DPS at 660-562-3209 if you have any information that would assist in recovering this stolen trailer.
